Intertakt
Ad-free interval timer that runs with your screen locked, delivering voice cues and audio beeps over your background music.
About Intertakt
Intertakt is an offline-first interval timer designed to let users train and work without glancing at a display. Built for hands-free routines, the timer continues running reliably while the phone is locked face-down or tucked in a pocket. Audio countdown beeps and multi-language voice prompts play directly over background music, announcing work phases, rest intervals, and round numbers.
The timer manages audio playback by providing independent volume controls for music, voice prompts, and buzzer beeps. Users can enable audio ducking to dip song volume during announcements or disable it entirely so playback never drops. When an incoming phone call interrupts a session, the app preserves your progress and presents a clear resume button showing the exact second and round where you paused.
Timing configurations support standard fitness protocols like Tabata 20/10 and high-intensity interval training, as well as desk mobility breaks, meditation, and study sessions. Every interval supports whole-second customization from one second up to an hour, enabling complex workouts with varying station lengths. All routine adjustments autosave locally without account sign-ups.
Intertakt operates on an ad-free model with zero commercial tracking across all tiers. Personal routines and training histories stay stored on your local device. Upgrading to the one-time premium license unlocks unlimited custom routines, workout logging, and JSON file import and export for sharing intervals with others.
