About Anatomy Atlas 3D
Anatomy Atlas 3D is an interactive human anatomy reference platform for learning anatomical structures in a browser. It uses BodyParts3D Release 4.0 data, FMA standard ontology, and real-time WebGL rendering to help users inspect thousands of anatomical meshes, search structures by organ, FMA ID, Latin name, or system, and explore the body through a 3D anatomy explorer.
The platform covers 15 organ systems, including skeletal, muscular, heart and pericardium, arterial, venous, nervous, respiratory, digestive, urinary, reproductive, endocrine, integumentary, sensory organs, fascia and ligaments, and lymphatic systems. It also includes male and female comparative anatomy, female reference structures, regional navigation from head and neck to lower limbs, and an A–Z anatomical nomenclature index.
Learning features include a study library, bookmarks, notes, saved scenes, 3D practice quizzes, smart multi-field search, layer opacity controls, clipping across sagittal, coronal, and transverse planes, and exploded view spatial dissection.
